Our client is well reputed developer in the Power generation sector, as a Engineering Manager you will oversee all electrical engineering activities, ensuring design compliance, seamless integration of systems (gas turbines, steam turbines, and HRSG), and efficient project execution. Key responsibilities include reviewing technical designs, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring safety and regulatory adherence, resolving technical challenges, and supervising installation, testing, and commissioning.

 

·       Oversee all electrical engineering aspects of the Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) project, ensuring alignment with design specifications and project requirements.

·       Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, transformers, and HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator).

·       Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

·       Coordinate with stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and design teams, to address technical challenges and ensure smooth project execution.

·       Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project goals.

·       Supervise the integration of electrical systems into the overall plant infrastructure while maintaining operational efficiency.

·       Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring milestones are met within defined constraints.

·       Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for electrical systems and infrastructure.

·       Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues, providing guidance and support to the engineering team.

  • Prepare and deliver progress reports, ensuring transparent communication with management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering electrical required

·       Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in construction of power plants , with at least 5 years in a senior management role.

  • In-depth knowledge of cogeneration systems, power generation processes, and plant equipment.
  • Should be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and safety standards in the power generation industry. Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
